I truly feel that my career path chose me! After dreaming of a career in the music industry, I landed a job in event management at Denverโs largest sports and entertainment arenas: Pepsi Center, Dickโs Sporting Goods Park and the Paramount Theater. After 5 years of planning events of all sizes, I was ready to branch out from events and joined a team at a creative agency on the experiential marketing team. I love using my creativity to build communities centered around brands. When I joined the Sola team in 2013, I could not wait to focus on a mission-driven brand to help thousands of beauty professionals experience the freedom of salon ownership. Throughout the years, my role at Sola has evolved immensely. I am incredibly passionate about storytelling and bringing BIG ideas to life.

I am very proud of the accomplishments Iโve made in my career – I have never thought of myself any differently being a woman, I have always felt comfortable sharing my ideas and speaking my mind, even when my opinions differ from other team members. I feel my creativity and ideas are my biggest assets! Now with a new baby at home, as I prepare to re-enter the work place after maternity leave, I have a new respect for all working parents, male and female.

I have been fortunate to work with some amazing leaders who have become mentors to me throughout my career. I have also worked in challenging situations that have made me stronger. In business and in life, itโs important to always focus on the lessons. If a particular situation or person is causing you difficulty, itโs often your greatest teacher. I am grateful to be surrounded by a team of creative, passionate, hardworking people who I have learned an incredible amount from throughout the years.
